Why Bazaarket exists

I started Bazaarket because I got fed up with my own wardrobe. Most of what I owned was either too try-hard or it pinched somewhere by 4 in the afternoon — and that, frankly, is a daft way to dress at 38.

I'd spent ten years buying for boutiques across northern Europe — Antwerp, Copenhagen, Berlin. Visiting showrooms, picking lines, watching what actually sold versus what looked good on a moodboard. The lesson, again and again, was simple: women want clothes they can put on at 8am and forget about until they take them off. Comfortable. Quietly nice. Not chasing a trend that'll embarrass them in eighteen months.

So that's what we sell. Modern-classic pieces, mostly soft fabrics, plenty of elastic in the waistbands where it matters. Nothing here is here because someone on TikTok wore it last week.

Who Bazaarket is for

If you're between 28 and 50 and you've started buying clothes for how they make you feel rather than what your phone shows you, you'll get on with us. We don't do "statement" pieces. We don't do logos on the front. We don't do anything you couldn't wear to drop the kids off and then to a half-decent restaurant the same evening.

The brief, every single time, is: would I actually want to wear this on a normal Tuesday?

How we work

• Every piece is hand-picked for modern-classic style and everyday comfort — chosen with care, not pulled from anonymous bulk listings.
• I test fabric weight and comfort on myself before anything goes on the site. If it scratches, it doesn't make the cut. Sounds obvious. It isn't.
• Sizing runs honest — when something runs small I put it in the product description. No fishing.
• If you email us, a real person answers. Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 GMT. We aim for within 24 hours and usually do better than that.

A small confession

Bazaarket isn't a huge operation. There's me, a small team in London, and a network of suppliers I've built up over the years. We don't pretend to be more than we are. The flip side is when you buy something here, you're buying it from people who picked it for a reason — not from a marketing department.
